PDMS (Polydimethylsiloxane), a silicone polymer, is cured by an organometallic crosslinking reaction. The siloxane base oligomers contain vinyl groups. The cross-linking oligomers contain at least 3 silicon hydride bonds each. This silicone polymer is known for its flow properties and can be found in places such as contact lenses and shampoos and is widely used as an antifoaming agent.
